Darin and his family moved to California late in 2006.  God orchestrated the move to bring them to Bayside Woodland and later (September 2007) on staff as the children’s ministry pastor.  Darin has had a lifetime desire for ministry to children, and shares this enthusiasm with his wife Lisa, toddler son JD, and newborn son Jesse.  Darin and Lisa have been married for over 21 years.  Lisa is the afternoon announcer in Christian radio at nationally-syndicated KLOVE radio station in Rocklin.

In his spare time, Darin likes to run, make balloon animals, read science fiction, shop at thrift stores, blow his nose at the table at public restaurants, and hang out with Lisa, JD, and Jesse.
