Genesis 31-32; Matthew 9:18-38
JESUS wanted people to KNOW his FATHER. But He didn’t tell his followers to pray for them. Instead, He says, “Ask (God) to send out more WORKERS.”
HENRIETTA MEARS was a little old lady you may never have heard of.
She wanted people to connect with God, and she KNEW how to pray like this. She asked God for 3 YOUNG MEN she could mentor and train to become WORKERS for God. God ANSWERED by sending her 3 young men nobody had heard of:
• Billy Graham – Whose crusades estimate over 2.5 million people connecting with God.
• Bill Bright – Founder of Campus Crusade for Christ, and author of The Four Spiritual Laws – a Booklet explaining how to connect with God, with over 2.5 billion in print.
• Dawson Trotman – Founder of The Navigators – a Christian discipleship organization serving in over 100 countries through over 4000 employees.
…Not a bad legacy – for a little old lady almost nobody has heard of. Makes me wonder if some of MY best time should be invested – “Asking God to send out more WORKERS.” THOUGHTS? It’s been GREAT to hear from you this week!

I know of Henrietta Mears. She wrote a Bible commentary book that I read back in the 80′s. It was an excellent book! Loved the story about her prayer and the three evangelists. Billy Graham is another of my favorite authors; especially “Angels” and “The Holy Spirit”.
Returning to someone we have hurt is a scary thing. The last time Jacob saw Esau, Jacob was in fear for his life. Both of them changed in time and found that there was still affection even though they both remember the pain. GODs timing is perfect and he knows what he is doing. Im so grateful to be GODs project.
