Starting is always hard. Newton's laws give additional insight to the way God has wired us, e.g., an object at rest tends to stay at rest and an object in motion tends to stay in motion. Those Newtonian rules apply until an outside force is applied to the object. We need the outside force applied from the inside out. We can't do anything for God unless He installs the Holy Spirit inside us to cause us to get off dead center. Solomon was only a few millennia ahead of Newton's explanation of the laws of physical motion, but the need for an outside force to get him going was no different than what I need today, a few centuries after Newton.
